About 'Toy Gallery'.
The 'Toy Gallery' was established in 1990 and is now run by owner, Nicola Henderson, Manageress, Linda Smith and their team, in premises located in the heart of the historic market town of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
17, Ladygate is a Grade ll listed building and in a former life was a Blacksmith's shop. The shop still has its original Georgian style paned window, actually bowing inwards, which, the story goes, was the result of a rather large horse backing into it !
Now it is the perfect home for the fabulous range of traditional toys, dolls and collectible teddy bears offered by the 'Toy Gallery'. Furnished with beautiful dark wooden cabinets, the store has the cosy feel of a toy shop from bygone years.
Richly coloured, high quality games and puzzles fill the shelves providing a huge choice for those seeking traditional toys destined to become long lasting family favourites, whilst a delightful range of nursery gifts feature Beatrix Potter, Pooh, Miffy and the 'must have' for babies, Skwish !
We also have a stunning range of fabolous dolls, from the cutest baby dolls through to the fabulous Italian 'My Doll' range of rag dolls
However, 'Toy Gallery' also specialises in collectible Teddy Bears offering a large range of all your favourite bears from manufacturers around the world. We pride ourselves on offering bears from some of the best bear artists and believe that we have a teddy bear to suit everyone's preference and pocket.
You will be made most welcome during your visit to the 'Toy Gallery' and we look forward to helping you find the perfect toy or teddy.
